I sit here on the frozen stone
A heavy cast iron all alone
The wind howls loud a winter song
I hold the heat and hold it strong
Green fire dancing in the black
The mountain sky is fighting back
Shimmering gold and neon blue
I keep the stew always brand new
The monks come by with frozen toes
The biting wind just rips their clothes
I bubble slow a salty brew
A warm reward for just a few
High peaks are white and sharp as glass
I watch the heavy snowfall pass
The colors swirl above the height
A ghostly glow in dead of night
Green fire dancing in the black
The mountain sky is fighting back
Shimmering gold and neon blue
I keep the stew always brand new
I've seen a thousand winters fly
Underneath this electric sky
No one knows how I keep my glow
Deep in the belly of the snow
My handle's worn my belly's charred
The climb up here is way too hard
But I'll stay hot until the dawn
Until the winter chill is gone
Green fire dancing in the black
The mountain sky is fighting back
Shimmering gold and neon blue
I keep the stew always brand new
Just a pot on a frozen peak. Keep it hot.
Yeah.
